So, I don't think there is any danger of them becoming commonplace like they are in other games - a lot of the time you see it in Warhammer fantasy for something like human armies (bretonnians etc. someone will always use Perry historical miniatures because they are better, cheaper and fit the theme), or 15mm world war 2, which are based on historical and common ideas that are easily made by other manufacturers, and which Battlefront/Flames of War really need to worry about.

Let me know how that works out for you; I got those boxes recently for spare parts for Infinity Conversions. So far one of the easier conversions is turning a molatov cocktail into just a beer bottle with some light snipping.

Yeah the weapon sprues alone make those boxes worth having. Enough AK-47s to give every Haqq model a gun in its off hand...

Yes yes yes.
Not using any of their models for Infinity though, except for those two Civilians.
Got myself a Dark Age bounty hunter recently, thinking of using her as a second Chimera..
Oh and I faced a PanO Mechanic who was a sedition wars model yesterday. Not the best model but nicer than the official one.

Ahhh Sedition Wars... trying to copy Infinity and failing.
The models weren't bad, but the material they were made out of really detracted from the final result.
Then Mantic dropped Deadzone, which is also trying to copy Infinity with sub par models. The terrain is pretty stellar at least...

My Civies will be comming from mission packs once I start getting those, but I'll need more, so Hasslefree will help there. Thankfully a M16 or P90 won't look wrong in Ariadna.
Anyone have any examples of SAS or Foxtrot proxies btw? I guess I could drop a rifle on one SAS guy, but I'd rather avoid hacking away at metal.

I'm not keen on skinny-white-guy-with dreads (see too many around here as it is.). Don't have an issue with big Polynesian dude with dreads. Team him with a HF shotgun and it'll be apples. I'll call him "Ronan "scarface" Dex".
