I bought one of Antenociti's Warthog ADVs to use as a SWAT-truck.


Question is, what color(s) to paint it?

I have Antenociti's police car started in Tokyo PD white over black, and I have a Meteor zond in the Tokyo PD helo scheme.




Beijing PD colors:


So, another white over black, or something a bit darker and more intimidating, like Panzer Gray? I'm not good enough to paint 'glossy' black like Palocles' Avatar.

I like the Tokyo PD scheme best. I think you should paint all your police vehicles in the same style.

I'd vote for grey-orange, Celestial Guard-style. Or failing that, dystopian dark turquoise with red OSL. The Dragon's claw does not need velvet gloves.

How about Nationalist Party glossy black?

It's quite hilarious. There was one Double Decker Propaganda Bus parked in front of our local bank headquarters and this sarariman came pedaling up and sort of said "Nan de kore..." The NP guy started explaining and the cyclist sort took out his camera and took a photo. The NP guy was like and then "chotto chotto chotto" but the sarariman went and cycled off.

They hate photos being taken.

If I had the skills for super-gloss black, I would be painting it up like Palocles' Avatar (highlighted all the way to white!). Sadly, I lack the skill to make that look good.

So I'm aiming for something a little closer to my skill level. Bought a jar of P3 Meredius blue, which is a close match for the riot bus blue. Still need to find some 3M chart tape to mask a straight line, I want to clean up the 'Imperial Service air vehicle' a bit.
