Kick Start Her

Hi guys.
Just wanted to ask for a little bit of support from the WWX community. Well not me exactly, but my girlfriend Amy, who is doing a skydive this Thursday 9th May 2013 for the charity Help for Heroes. http://www.helpforheroes.org.uk
Amy works as a nurse and cares and looks after people all day, so it would be nice if all those willing to support her on this occasion could do so. Amy is also gaining more qualifications as a career goal to help rehabilitate people with brain injuries.
This is quite a daunting task for Amy, as she is scared of heights (I have told her that if the parachute does not open, she will get down faster, but I don't think women appreciate logic sometimes, hehe).
I appreciate that this can be viewed as a political charity, but I urge you to think past this and to think of the injured individual that this funding helps. Whether right or wrong, civilian victims of war get large sums of compensation, whereas some soldiers get very little support from the government and have to rely on charities such as this in order to get by on a daily basis and cope with the large adjustments in their new life.
Whatever you views are on raising money for this charity, be assured that it is very much respected and understood. Being an injured soldier myself, my loyalties lay with helping those in a similar situation to myself and all I ask is that you respect our viewpoint in return.
Thanks for taking the time to read this comment, she is not a gamer (although I took her to play her first board games the other day at FANG (https://www.facebook.com/groups/147429465334481) in which she really enjoyed herself. She does not really appreciate how close the gaming community can be and I have not told her that I have posted this on any of the gaming forums. I am hoping that it will be a nice surprise to her sponsorship total if she gets some more anonymous sponsors.
Anyone wanting to become a sponsor can do so via the following link (Anonymous donations can be made):
