Anyone else watched Episode One of this new show from SyFy in the States?

Set ~200 years in the future, megacorps and world governments, spaceships and habs out in the Black, Earth vs Mars vs Belters.

I really, really want to do some spaceship/spacestation terrain for Infinity now, having seen the ships and habs of the show.

Oh, and on the SyFy website you can only watch Episode One if you're a Yank, but let's just say that good quality torrents are a thing and geo-locking is bullcrap...

Anyone else seen it?

It's coming to Oz in the new year, apparently.
Based on the trailer I saw, I'll wait for it - I only torrent stuff we can't get (like Killjoys - because SyFy here was too slow to nab it).

I watched the first ep last night and really enjoyed it.

It's intriguing so far. I'll reserve judgement until I'm at least 3 episodes in. We'll see if it turns out to be good or not, but it hasn't turned me away so far.

Reading the novels while I wait. Currently on book 2.

Watched the first episode and thought it seemed interesting. Are the episodes based on the books or are the books different stories set in the world of the show?

The first season is at least based upon "Leviathan wakes" - some details are changed, but it does at least follow the first half of the book at least.

Noir detective is even better than in book

Seems to involve bits of other stories, too. Since Holden didn't get infected by the goo in S1.
