So any of you guys get on the Destiny Beta? What do you think so far?

I got a few hours in on the PS4 with a Hunter build, and so far so slick. You can definitely feel the Halo DNA running through it, and they have really built on that with a new IP. Has a Star Wars, Mass Effect, and Saturday morning SCi Fi adventure vibe to it. I think it will do very well indeed.

Very pretty on PS4 and is running well so far. Easy to jump in and out of the different game modes, fighting alongside buddies or helping strangers who are out gunned. Epic stuff. Well done Bungie.

Its gorgeous to look at, the soundtrack is awesome and the echo whilst firing in cramped spaces is great.
The pvp really shows its halo dna being a lot faster moving than the modern military shooters not quite my taste to some extent this might be due to the maps available.

My main gripe is the dodgy aggro range on the mobs, if you engage from far enough away they seem to leash on their spawn point rather than actually fighting back.

Will definitely be picking up the release version when it lands.

I agree, the soundtrack is fantastic. Love the sound of the sparrow as you zoom about, very star wars.

I got in a few rounds on the Crucible and was pretty terrible at it. The first map on Venus I think, and couldn't get any decent snipes in with the Hunter. I was terrible at Halo multiplayer too, so will no doubt spend more time with the co op missions.

Few cool random encounters with other players too while exploring.

Did you try all the classes yet? I rushed in with the Hunter and he has a terrible haircut...
