There's a whole world out there, besides Infinity. Discuss it here. Keep it civil, folks!

From updates, Alliance Cruiser is inspired in Mass Effect Normandy ship. And it mentions it should get a room like the bridge of the ship.

Also connector parts already unlocked (the ones to join single width and double width areas).
If not worth saving, is it worth rewriting? What is more, was it worth writing?

Bunker (texts in German or Arabic... what?), Dwarven stronghold (geometrical decors), Citadel (Middle Age) and Con-Am 27 (industrial) styles shown for the corridor KS.

German text on the bunker should be obvious, Weird War 2 gaming. I'm less sure about the Arabic, unless someone is doing a call of Cthulhu game I'm not aware of...

But those look pretty good! Jeez, $5200 bucks pledged and 30 backers means that backers are averaging $173.74 each!

Wait, this is MDF terrain. It's disturbingly easy to reach $180 in MDF!

Nicho - you might want to pass on to the TT guys that the square rooms aren't usable for Paradiso or ITS missions because they've only got two doors...

[Kickstarter] Modular Gaming Corridors

by torpedo » June 25th, 2014, 2:45 am

Hello!

I wanted to take a moment to let the community know that I have a Kickstarter project in full swing:

https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/981366386/corridor-sets-from-sci-fi-to-steampunk-available

We have both a "single-wide" and "double-wide" option for the corridors, and 15 themes to choose from (by the end of the campaign), many of which are a great fit for Infinity.

Anyone who pledges, even $1, before the end of June 25th will be able to participate in the last two themed custom designs that will be available...I will be surveying backers, getting ideas, taking image links and other material to design two more themed corridors. Almost all of our backers have Infinity as their game of choice so this will be a good opportunity to participate in designing something really cool and influencing the end product.

In the meantime, here are some photos of the corridor sets and the individual pieces that make them up.

Is this going to be a kickstart exclusive? If not, it might be a good idea to start your own thread in the retailers area on the forum! That way people will have an easier time finding your product!
I really like what you've created, btw! Especially all the different themes which gives it some awesome playability trough all kinds of different games! :) I hope you succeed with the Kickstarter!

Not sure if this is the right spot, but Afterlife has some cool models:

I'd totally buy the Senator and the Bounty Hunter.

I think these might have been KS specials, but I hope they become available for regular purchasers.

These look reasonably neat and affordable, with a very modest goal. Apparently you get to choose the outer skins of the buildings, and I really like the stretch goals.

Oh my. Quite nice designs but they've spent thousands of dollars on 3D prints and all they show is some concept sketches? Also, that's a mighty hefty funding goal...

$100k funding goal?!? What gives, are they trying to make these in injection-molded plastic?

To be honest, those concept sketches look like they just grabbed some screen-caps from the THQ 40k real-time strategy game...

If that funds, they're going to need that $100k for their legal defense fund!
