My area has a very small Infinity group, we just got our second steady player, and we don't get to run a lot of tournaments.

I was wondering if anyone had any extra pins or patches for the nomads from the tourney kits that they would be willing to part with for cash?

Whereabouts are you located? Maybe I can help direct you to some local tournaments?

I am in Champaign IL, so there are several tourneys in Chicago that I can go to, and some starting in St. Louis. Unfortunately my schedule leaves me little time on weekends to go. I have currently one other player in the area, who prefers war machine and doesnt want to play tourneys for infinity. Luckily though I found one more player last night and last night I ran a demo and think I have a third player hooked, he is probably going to pick up Ariadna. I purchased some Aleph for my son as he watched the demo and really wants to play and the guy I used to own an FLG with is thinking of joining us. so since my last post it is looking like I may be up to 5 besides myself so hopefully within the next month or two I may have enough players to start having tourneys of our own. I now just have to build another table for the garage.

If you know of any others I would be glad to here of it. I've been in the game since 2nd came out but have less than 20 games under my belt including the gencon tourney I got stomped in, lol. luckily I am good at getting communities started when I have the time to dedicate to it. I helped start one around applewood hobby in New Jersey and now have the time to start one here.

Sounds like you're well on your way!

There should be some players in Chicago, as you mentioned. What I recommend is getting in contact with them ASAP and trying to get some of them to attend your events as well as try and get your new players to carpool all over and invade those close-by metas! It's a lot of fun to play new people and have those new experiences. If you can sell that successfully to your new group, you'll find a very stable group that is going to grow with you.

With regards to the topic, I'd just drop a line in with those Chicago folks about saving a Nomad patch/pin set for you.
