Knight Piper's Warmill's PUP review Review

Next on the queue is Warmill's Pup or Portable Utility Pod. This was my first MDF terrain and started the whole "I have a problem with buying terrain for infinity" thing.

So first as always the pictures:

Construction: Easy to make, just a little bit of glue for the part, like with the crates I reviewed earlier, the design makes for easy buidling. Plus getting the parts out off the spure was easy.

Overall Look: It looks basic but sci-fi at the same time, like something you would find on a colony or military base. The roof details as well as the door and rear details are nice and the feet give it that temporary feel.

Usability: Easy to transport, it fits a couple of guys inside, and can give some cover, it does very well. The roof details do not allow for minis or 3rd party bits to fit on there very well, but as a stand alone it works very well. But as a building it does not give a lot of cover, once again more just along the lines of blocking LOS, but I think it can be a good building to hid objectives or civis in for missions.

Overall score: 3 out of 5. The price hurts it a bit for me as a Yank with pounds and shipping (Yes I know it is not as bad as it is for the Australians, but still poor college student is talking here). Plus the lack of room to put extra stuff on the roof is a little disappointing, but not a deal breaker by any measure. However it looks good, has possibilities for being But I will buy from Warmill again and I want another PUP as well as some of the utility products. It was easy to make and lit the terrain my ich and was my gateway terrain from plastic to MDF.
