Systema Gaming Base-0 review
Hello fellow denizens of the Data-Sphere,
I just wanted to share my thoughts about Systema Gaming's Base-0 range, short version: I love it!
Long version:
The sets are very easy to build and all of the ones I've gotten have been a perfect fit. I've tried other european manufacturers and I've got to say that these are my favorites to work with, I've never had any broken pieces or bits that are difficult to get of the sheet. You can also dry-fit them before gluing and it makes the process smooth and fast.
Gameplaywise the sets are good looking without getting in the way. I like that most buildings have interior walls so you can have close range firefights with cover available even if you don't have any scatter terrain inside. You can also offset the windows and the doors inside so there's no LoF through the building but still having windows so you can shoot in and out.
All the sets from this range are extremely modular and you can make a lot of different setups, you can connect buildings at all levels and you can stack them to create tall terrain pieces. You can also use the extra roofs as ground level platforms or loading bays, lots of possibilities! I strongly recommend getting the extra ladders add-on, it adds a lot to the flexibility of the table.
I want to give an additional shoutout to Primoz, he's been great in the communications department, answering my questions and helping me sort out my orders.
Very highly recommended!
If you want to see pictures you can see my thread in the terrain forum: http://www.data-sphere.net/forum/viewtopic.php?f=13&t=2499
