Wanted to take a moment to let people know about our webstore

We try to do things a little different and concentrate on customer service, so

We have live stock levels
We dont take pre-orders, no disappointment if things run late
We keep the whole infinity range in-stock each week (re-ordering as items sell)
We try to throw in some freebies with each order (D20's, tokens, etc)
We only charge actual postage costs, nothing inflated

We also stock Malifaux, Mercs, Dark Age, Ravage Magazine, Secret Weapon Bases&Washes, and more

A real time indication as to whether they have that particular item in stock right now.

So basically an automatic notification of the website when the last piece is ordered? Surprised this is being advertised then, it belongs to the "why doesn't everyone use it yet?!" category.

VVV: Oh yes, I too wouldn't mind a table of shipping costs.

Could you do me a favor and start stocking Windsor & Newton brushes? I'm having a seriously hard time getting a hold of them, without paying through the nose for postage to the Netherlands. And while you're at it, I wouldn't mind Model Mate spraypaints and Army Painter Strong Tone ink.

With that in mind, perhaps it would be a good idea to add a 'shipping' link to the bottom or the page. Or maybe even put the postage pricing on a more conspicuous place (if it's part of your USP, of course).

Will look for a better place to put it on the site when i get time.

We are looking at brushes, we might stock Rosemary & Co, which most uk painters find equivalent to W&N series 7 but a little cheaper, if i can find a good stockist for W&N i will stock them.

Not sure on Model Mate / War paints yet, we have alot of stuff in our list of things to stock first, we do carry full range of Model Colour / Model Air though.

Shipping looks VERY fair, you've definitely got my attention now. I pay like £4-5 in the Netherlands for anything that doesn't fit through the mailbox sleeve, it's insane.

Oh and what about Reaper Master Series paint? Loooooving that stuff.

I use the reaper inks with the model colors they work well together.

Just put an order in for some stuff now. Couldn't see how the live stock numbers worked, it is just unavailable to add to the cart if the item is out of stock?

Got fed up with geting orders in pieces as other shops sent things as they got them, so available stock when ordering is a real plus

As soon as someone orders, and the order goes past the "pay" stage it drops the stock off the store and it will show out of stock unless we have more than one of the item in. If two people order the same thing at the same time, the last person will get an error at checkout saying its out of stock.

Its easier to do things this way because (like this week) infinity orders from Europe to the UK distro are often delayed, and we dont want people sitting disappointed waiting for their items with no updates.

Makes sense. I can see some of the bits I ordered are listed as out of stock now.

Thumbs up for full range of Vallejo as well.

I use Valient quite regularly (to my wife's disapproval) and can vouch for the great service. The reason I didn't use other web stores was solely due to not knowing when I would get my fix (minis). I don't like going cold turkey.

I agree. It always dispatces within day(s) instead of weeks.




Edit: Do you guys happen to know, when your're going to get the december releases?

Is this just a stand alone web-store or are you guys also running a brick and mortar game store too?

Were a webstore at the moment, but ultimately would like a physical presence in a few years if we are successful.

At the moment were trying to bring in niche ranges, like Dark Age that are hard to get in Europe.

The Dec Infinity releases will go on store tonight, been a busy week and not had time to get them uploaded.

Have to say I've used Valiant (and the sister company basecraft) quite a bit over the last 12 months or so and they have always been great with me. One of the only decent suppliers in the north of England (I'd say the best but I'm bias).

Cool, you endorse MERCS =) I might start with that system along side Infinity once I get a hold of enough Infinity to my satisfaction! It seems to me like a very promising game, really compatible with the Infinity Terrain from MAS and the other companies. You're the first I encounter to have a stock. =) Cool, coolcoolcool

We do stock the Rosemary & Co Brushes, the series 33 are very similar to W&N and actually used by a lot of the uk's top painters, R&C are a professional brush company, they are small, so all the brushes come out at a high quality, alot of care and attention goes into their product.

Yes, actually have some in, just havent had a chance to add them to the store yet, i think were looking at £50 for them, the box is heavy though so shipping wont be cheap (should be ok in the uk)
