I recently tried to place an order from a UK store, and the shipping amounted to almost as much (if not more) than the order itself. I really like this particular store, but I can't justify paying twice the cost of the items.

So, I come to you all for help. Does anyone know a North American vendor of terrain bits (consoles, panels, desks, etc.) with reasonable shipping costs?

Depends if you want specific bits or terrain, or are looking for stuff in general. All of the MDF terrain manufacturers except Micro Art Studio sell direct only, so if you want specific terrain from a specific manufacturer other than MAS and they aren't in the US, you're out of luck there.

For misc bits and bobs, there is http://www.armorcast.com

For MDF terrain there is Warsenal and Burn In Designs. Also, from the UK, Sarissa Precision offers free shipping on orders over ~$80.

The online retailers Warstore and Miniature Market carry the Micro Art Studio MDF terrain and bits, but stock usually sells out quickly so you may need to sign up for restock notification on those items.

I'm a big fan of Armorcast stuff even though they haven't made anything really new in ages.....

Mantic's Deadzone KS has some addons that include desks, screens, etc Maybe worth looking into.

In my area we do group orders and slipt the cost of shipping.

What sort of bits are you looking for?

There's a new indiegogo campaign for modular resin terrain I found yesterday that has some terrain bits pledges, free worldwide shipping, for that reason might be worth a go.
