Looks good.
And I'm definitely getting one or two pieces, just for purposes of having a variety of buildings of different styles and ages on-hand.

4Ground stuff is prepainted. Their Japanese range is $42-$60 US for pairs of small buildings (and $55 for a large building), so I expect the scifi to be similar in price.
I'm tempted to get the Japanese range and add a few scifi details based on
the "Zashiki Warashi of Intellectual Village" setting (it's all for marketing, the idea of the traditional farmer and traditional houses. But the houses have modern locks, solar panels on the roof, solar panels lining each field, etc.)
...
looks like I got

What I mean is that some of their dark ages precolored range is very well priced, while the fantasy range is a lot pricier but the designs are more intricate and have a lot more color.
These look like they are simple enough to be on the cheap side of things

Hmm... why everyone seems to have the same colors? Is there a supplier of precoated MDF?

OK, preorder-normal price, some examples: building PPH 085 (three zones and two levels plus roof) 38-42 pounds, PPH 011 & 013 (two zones/rooms, plus roof) 21-23 pounds each, PPH 112 & 056 (single room with roof) 13-14 pounds each. Different packs of 3 pairs (= 6) of crates, 9 pounds. Town of one big, two medium, two small buildings, 24 crates (one of each style, I guess), 56 lights, 4 roof access ladders and two packs of storm shutters, 159-176 (196 if bought separate).
Based in pictures, somewhat linked to Beyond the Gates of Antares.

The value for some seems ok, given that it is pre-painted. I'm not so excited for the smaller buildings they are really just boxes...
