The Fiddler Returns

White Dragon Miniatures is doing a Kickstarter that could now include a 15mm version of the Fiddler mech.

https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/13 ... miniatures

Some of you may be familiar with this mech's relationship with Infinity. First introduced to us by Magno at Gencon 2013, it was the centerpiece of an amazing special scenario he created.

The new 15mm version should be the perfect size for an Infinity TAG.

Being one of the few people in the world that owns a full sized Fiddler (I have been told only 40 were made), I can tell you that its design and detail are easily on par with Infinity models.

Here is a pic of my Fiddler at Gencon 2013.

Heya Guges! I did always enjoy the Fiddler.

Can you get a picture of the Fiddler next to a TAG, a HI, and a LI all in the same photo?

I know the one you have is probably the 28mm version, but I can mentally scale it down.

I think I saw this one show up on my Facebook feed during work (didn't have time to look into it some more).. BoW pushed it, am I right?

Yeah I learned about it from TGN but BoW just broke the Fiddler stretch goal on FB.

KS go in the KS thread. And already mentioned there. With photos of the new products. :cop: Move along viewtopic.php?f=18&t=51&start=330#p40077

Fiddler original scale wasn't 28mm, but announced as 1/35, and KS comments say 54mm, BTW.

So like 3.6 times smaller, and based in another comment, ~55mm tall (and wider than that).

So definitely a Size 8 model like the Mag Guard.

It might fit on a 40mm base if the legs are close enough. The big one could almost fit on a 60mm.

Mag is 70*70 mm, this one is 55*something, but you could say the arms are dynamic things.

I've been wondering about the Proteus as a TAG. It should be about right.

Just remember that the miniature they show is a true 28mm figure compared to the Proteus, so it is slightly shorter than some of the averages. Still, I like very much.
