I am a part-time designer for a laser-cut MDF and plywood gaming supplies company here in Winnipeg called SG2 Creations. We have just designed a line of sic-fi buildings for use for Infinity and other 28 mm games. The windows and doors can be punched out or left in, and the buildings are completely stackable. Each floor is 3" high.

The walls on the roofs are 20 mm high, so they will grant cover to even S5 or S6 size models. In addition, the roofs can be removed entirely.

In addition, there are a number of other items that can be used with these buildings.

Special roof sections ('quarter' roof on left, 'half' on right)

Ladders (in single and double story lengths)

Catwalks (in 4" and 8" lengths)

Prices (CAD)
Buildings (roof + floor)
4" x 4": $17
4" x 8": $22
'L': $35
8" x 8": $33
Extra level (walls and floor):~50% of total building cost
Other
Roof package (one 'half' and one 'quarter' roof): $15
Accessories package (two ladders, single and double story lengths; and two catwalks, 4" and 8"): $21 $16

Right now each building is supplied with two door walls and two window walls. However, if we get enough orders/requests, we will start providing orders will varying window and door walls to customer requests (i.e., one door wall and three window walls, or four door walls).

If you have any questions or comment, please contact me via PM, or the owner (Byron) at sg2creations@gmail.com, or post them in this forum.

I like how the stack in really uncommon ways. You can create a really cool looking slum with that!

Interesting stuff ! I'm the Infinity Gourou in Montreal.
Shipping rates should be interesting for us since it doesn't cross the border.

I'll post your website on our FB page.

Thanks very much! Helping more people know about the product really helps.

@Lerk!t & Scorch: Thanks for your praise. Regarding the stacking, I really tried to design the buildings so they could stack in as many different ways as possible.

Sorry for not posting anything over the week - life and whatnot.

Here are some pictures of a painted 'L' Building to see what they could like with posters and weathering effects.

Prices and pictures of the catwalks and ladders should be forthcoming soon.

Always cool to find a Canada-based source of laser-cut goodness. As Marc said, not having to pay for cross-border or trans-Atlantic shipping is always a good thing!

One thing you might want to consider on your 8x8 building is alternate walls such that there's a door in the centre of each wall, for the various stock objective room scenarios in rulebook.

That is something that I've talked with the owner about. At this time the business isn't large enough to handle carrying pre-cut inventory, and having cutting packages with every single wall combination isn't as straight-forward as it sounds. However, if we get enough demand from players/customers for more wall variety, we will start carrying pre-cut walls that can be swapped in.

I'm meeting the owner Monday, so this is something I'll definitely bring forward to him.

Also, to note, the walls are completely modular, so a door wall can replace a window wall, and vice versa.

So I ended up talking to the owner sooner, and he agreed to offer an 'Objective Room' option for the 8"x8" building, which will swap the window walls for door walls.

Hey everyone,

A quick update. SG2 now has it's own webpage (rather than a blog site), and orders can be taken directly through the website.

Also, there is a new product up for use with the buildings - balcony walls.

Each set comes with three 8" long walls, and one 4".

So just like this thread, SG² Creations is dead. One of the partners has continued under a new name, Northern Lights Terrain.

Rather than trying to update this, I will be posting all relevant details in a new thread.
