Laser Cut Terrain

So, i brought myself a laser cutter :)

So much fun to play around with designs in cad and then be able to cut stuff, some of which would never be economical for sale.

Not sure if we'll ever sell this stuff on the store, for the moment its more for personal use, but i thought i'd paste up some of my examples.

First the shipping container, seems that every laser cutter has a variation on the shipping container design and heres ours. It was difficult to work out something truely new and different, with Sarssia and Warmill both already having nice containers. Tried to keep this one a similar size so it doesnt look out of place alongside other ranges, but went with a very different assembly design.

The main unique feature here is the removal roof, so you can have models easily move through the inside, everyone else seems to do doors that can be open but no way to use the interior.

The ladders and side plates are optionals

And a variation with interior containers that will stack with the others

Next up for my personal industrial board i've been working on industrial grating

Now this one takes 10 minutes to cut (per piece) so will never be economical to sell, but it looks nice

I'd love to get some of those containers, especially if I can get just the outside frame (to fill with my own objects).

You know, I think that you might be able to get commercially viable walkways by just making a frame that you can glue plastic mesh to (bonus points if you include cuts of plastic mesh in the kit). In the offcut areas, you could probably stick a few ammo crates or other small object.

That stuff is insanely attractive terrain. I'd be very interested in getting access to the files or the terrain itself.
