They are working in more rather quick, a big guy nearly done and a girl, reusing the legs of the first miniature I posted in the thread, is well advanced:

Also a vertically challenged (not-in-space-Grymn) group of five (4 men, 1 women), first male started as conversion from resin miscast of full height ones:

And these steps shows interesting things about Mr White's style, like soldered not twisted wire armature (it must be "White, Kevin White" then), use of resin casts or full quick muscular system even if the final will have clothes:

Just in case no one noticed it, Deano, the big guy above and the woman(I assume at least) are all Stargate SG-1 homages.

Now that's something I'd be willing to do.
It gets around the men and dogs in skirts, and tartan in general.

Plus I could use them for other 28mm games in a modern/near future setting. :D

Considering it. Cash is going to be tight, so this would be a nice way to get a cheap army. They'd also do for Haqq.

I personally consider them good for Ariadna and Haqq (Charlie team I consider Halqa),

I have requested that the Spec Ops Grymm have one firing a missile launcher (D.E.P.) that way I can use them as 2nd Battalion Scots Guards. Cause little fellas hide better!

Not at Hasslefree shop, but modelled by Kevin for Warlord Games:

It was going to be for a KS (limited model?) but they canceled it. Speaking of limited, Warlord also sells resin and clear resin versions, very limited & more expensive (2x & 3x). Forget it, the clear one is already out of stock.

So she's finished. Looks really nice, and really professional, a perfect female for people that dislike pin-ups, perhaps a new Chasseur. ;)

And I guess the gun is easily modified, if you prefer a Infinity look.

The guy that models them is Kev White. Your post sounds a bit like your adressing me as the sculptor, sorry if my post did create such an impression.

I was wondering about the Knee pads too though, I belief all of the mini of the modern trooper line have these. If I ever get them in the future, I was thinking just filling them up with greenstuff. Shouldn't be to hard to do and smoother look might fit more to Infinity.

Edit: I just realized that no one has posted a link to HassleFree in here yet. So here it is!

If you look for militar knee pads, you will find many have "holes", normally no center one, but they have some around the edge. The holes are grommets that hold the plastic outter shell.

I don't have problems with the holes that should be there, but on the hasslefree minis they are not in the same place.
But yeah I would fill them too.

Although the other reason for the perforations in the cap is for cooling/airflow. Neoprene tends to hold onto moisture (including sweat) and allowing airholes for ventilation can alleviate this issue. I've got some old motorcycle knee pads that do this.

It makes sense, otherwise they would be fully closed rivets, as that would reduce things getting in or the soldier getting trapped by wire or plants.

Not to perform the Dark Arts of Necromancy, but the female minis and the double machine gun guy have finally made it to the Hasslefree Minis store in a form that isn't a resin master.
