Customeeple ITS Objectives Pack

Today we take a look at the Infinity Tournament System objectives designed for Infinity by Customeeple. The package combines enough objectives to fill one table for an ITS scenario. ITS is the official tournament system for Infinity, and to run a tournament you’ll need objectives. Customeeple offers a quick and affordable solution for these objectives in their ITS Objectives packages. Thanks to Customeeple, we got our hands on one of these packages and here is our first review. We’ll be sure to use these in our future battle reports.

The package contains:

  • 1 Comlink Console
  • 6 Crates
  • 5 Antennae
  • 2 Beacons

These contents don’t look like you get everything you’ll need for every ITS-mission but that’s what’s great about this pack. The antennas can easily be used as extra consoles, so together with the single Comlink Console, you can have six consoles. The same holds for the tech-coffin; you can use three crates instead of having to pay for another product. This makes the entire package less expensive while giving you all the terrain you need for ITS scenarios.

Assembly

Crate

Crate

The crates consist of five small detailed squares of MDF. The assembly is surprisingly quick and easy, and with a bit of PVA glue they will form a sturdy and durable crate. No parts lock together so you will need the glue, which will make the crates firm enough to transport. I haven’t put them through an real endurance test, but they seem solid and will stand up to some bumping. Great for casual transport in your backpack to an ITS.

Comlink Console

Comlink Console

The Comlink Console fits together nicely and the assembly doesn’t require instructions. Just a bit of glue will make a great and solid console. The acrylic parts show lots of detail. It also makes a great objective for the YAMS and Paradiso missions.

Antenna with green console

Antenna with green console

The antennas took me a little more time to assemble, because they had the most parts but still not more than 11 pieces of MDF. The acrylic elements really gives each of them it’s own character, with each antennae sporting a different colour. Red, orange, yellow, green, blue. The acrylic dishes on the top also show a nice level of detail and make the antennae come to life. Be careful during assembly as mine weren’t that stable without glueing them to their bases first as the acrylic on the dish makes them top-heavy causing them to fall over easily. The lower part is very solid and durable, but the upper part consist of more fragile MDF parts.

Beacons

Beacon

The beacons were the easiest to assemble, consisting of nothing more than a thin piece of MDF and two acrylic pieces, but the result is stunning. It really looks as if a beacon crash landed into the ground waiting for retrieval. They come in two colours, which is great for the ITS mission as it differentiates them.

Each objective comes with its own 40mm base, except the beacons which come with 25mm bases. This makes them legal for any Infinity mission system, as base to base contact is the way players can measure if any of them control an objective.

Overall

Customeeple uses MDF and acrylic for their products and this set is no different. The product has a nice level of detail, not only in the parts, but also in the engraved lines on the MDF. Considering the objectives are made out of a low count of tiny parts of MDF, which isn’t known for high level of detail, it’s amazing what Customeeple has done.

I like that fact that the set is affordable, but still gives you something that looks great on the table. The objectives are more than just a marker or a token, they are really a piece of scenery that looks awesome on the table.

If you are going to run a small tournament I highly recommends these because of their level of detail and design, their usability and their surprisingly creative method to make this product as affordable as possible. I know I’ll sure be using them.

If you don’t plan to run an ITS these objectives are also available separately and are useable for the other mission systems of Infinity as Campaign Paradiso, YAMS and the Dire Foes missions.

I can’t wait to use these during my game-nights!
