February Preview: Armand ‘Le Muet’ Freelance Killer
ITS 2015 has ended, 2016 has begun! That means the price of ITS 2015 becomes available with an alternative sculpt for general retail.
Thanks to Corvus Belli, Data Sphere received the first peak of Armand ‘le Muet’, the silent Tohaa Merc. This alternative sculpt comes with a sculpted Multi Sniper Rifle.
For those that aren’t familiar with Armand; he’s an alien mercenary, available to all regular armies. He comes with a Multi Sniper Rifle, a Nanopulser, 2 Breaker Pistols, a Shock CC Weapon and a Knife. Next, the model has either a Minelayer profile (with anti-personnel mines) or a MSV1 profile.
On top of that he’s probably the most durable Tohaa in the game. Besides his Symbiont Armour, Armand has access to an ODD, giving the model insane modifiers when in cover, and a ‘extra’ wound to shrug off any lucky shot.
Armand also has the ability to Forward Deploy (L1), although, coming with a Multi Sniper Rifle, I am not so sure if that’s the best of options.. but hey, it is there in case the best sniper position on the table is just 4 inch outside of your deployment zone. 😉 
Armand is a TRUE killer. Lethal, durable, silent. This great package comes at a price; 42 or 45 point, depending on the profile, is almost 1/6th of a standard 300 point list. If you can make it count, Armand will be a great asset to your forces!
Ok, I am tempted.
Our TOs tend to put good sniper spots just out of the DZ, so extra 4″ of deployment is actually useful 😛
Just having the option is super useful. It can get you to the ridge on the building so you start in cover instead of having to spend an order crawling to it.
Not really…. a sniper is a long range weapon, he sucks at mid terrain
flanks are a thing, if you’re not using them you’re not doing it right.

Worst sniper rifle model (the actual rifle is ugly) in the game. Put it on a lack lustre model and what do you get? Nothing impressive nothing impressive thats what!
Ohh well each there own I have the dual pistol model I won it in last years season so I don’t have to buy it. But I honestly have never taken him because will Vanilla only and I basically don’t Vanilla right now either AAS or ISS so I guess I miss out both ways. Oh wait Sniper Authorised Bounty Hunter I’ll be taking that thanks. 😛
