April Preview #4: 45th Galwegian Highlander

Aye laddie, the 45th Galwegian Highlander; feared among those who are on the opposite side of the table.

Cheap and lethal with a knife. And not that easy to kill on top of it! That’ll sting a wee bit.

The Highlanders are one of Caledonia’s close combat specialists, and their skills show it. CC21 + Berserk can bring some mean modifiers to the table, practically slicing you up with ease. Smoke and Dogged makes the Galwegians very survivable. And now they have amazing looking models to go with that.

In an entirely different way these four models show another type of progress in the 3D render technology. Not only do they all have a great pose, they also look a lot like famous characters from the movies Highlander, Braveheart and Rob Roy and each model represents one of the actors that played in those movies: Sean Connery, Christopher Lambert, Liam Neeson and some guy from Braveheart I don’t know. (Please fill me in if you know! 😉 )

These models are so recognizable that it didn’t take me two seconds to shout it out! Angel did an amazing job as well to make sure the models really came to life!
